Wacky Weigh-in Wednesday, Good Morning

Greetings Cali Friends,

I'm up early this morning as I have an early Chiro appointment, so I thought I'd get this party started today.

Remember today is wacky weigh in Wed. and we're trying to break the record for the Biggest Losers!  Post those lbs lost or gained, no judgement here just support and friendship!  Chris will tally up the numbers and give us a report on how we're doing.  Chris please put me down for 1 lb lost this past week.  Not too bad considering the holiday!

Good Morning Barb,

I wrote this really long morning post, I posted it and there you were, posting 2 minutes before me.  So I just erased it.  Ok for me, no loss a 4 lb gain.  I promise you it will be off by next week.

I asked in my morning post for prayers for Jean as she attends the funeral of her friends child.  Only 2 years old, and today is the day they place her to rest.  I feel so bad for the family, it has got to be one of the hardest things to do in life.  Also for Becky, who I hope, this is the last surgery for her.  Good grief she has been going through hell with those aliens.  Let's hope that the doctors got it right this time and she can heal correctly.

Ok Barb, hope you and Ron have a wonderful day.  Dougie only has 12 more days of work.  His boss wanted to know yesterday why he is working so hard.  It's just the way he is, he will be a loss to many, but he is so happy to be leaving.  More time with me, and more time for us to finally have a regular life.  For all of our lives together, being in emergency services, one of us was always running out the door on a 24/7 basis... what will we do without the phone ringing in the middle of the night.

Good Morning Cali -

I haven't posted much around here but want to get started again at least posting on WWW to help keep me focused, especially during the holiday times when all the holiday foods are so tempting and life gets a bit more stressful.

I did pretty good through Thanksgiving and a trip back to Texas to see family. 

Count me down for 3 lbs this week.

I'm quite behind on reading posts and seeing what is going on here..but I have seen the posts about Jean's friends little angel and Becky's surgery.  Unfortunately I've experienced the loss of a special little angel of a dear friend and it truly is one of the hardest things I've dealt with.  Lots of hugs and prayers to Jean and the loved ones of the little one. 

I do hope Becky is on the mend and all goes much better for her!

I'm getting so old and forgetful . . . I forgot it was Wed again!  Don't all fight over this . . .but we need a new tracker please!

Morning Barb and Cali,

Put me down for 1 pound this week.  I am not really trying to lose anymore just maintain.  I had my 6 month labs a so far out of the 15 vials they took all tests have come back in the normal range.  My A1C was higher than 2 months ago but still good!  I did take the test 2 days after getting back from vacation so I figure I am doing great!  Hope the doctor feels the same when I see her on the 14th.  I cannot belive I hit goal at 4 1/2 months and all my labs are doing great!  Yoo hoo for me!!!

I have Jean and Beck both in my prayers today.  Well Better get going.  Have a wonderful day everyone!

Good Morning Barb!

How is everyone!  I have been so busy I just have not had time to do anything but play cafe world!  lol.  It is going to get worse as parties after party after party.  It is nuts this time of year.  I keep saying my Christmas shopping is done then I see another and antoher and another thing I just must have!  Or have for someone else. 

It has been a blast this year with my kids.  ONe had a birthday yesterday and we celebrated it was great.  This time of the year is always nuts for me anyways with all these kids and trying to get them what they want and getting them to all their events and pagents and what nots.  It is actually fun if you want to know the truth. 

Life is good and this time of the year we get to celebrate so many things.  First being the Birth of Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior.  That I will take time to celebrate and rejoice in. 

Today is going to be an awesome day.  Today I am going to make someone smile that does not have one.  I am going to do at least one kindness to someone and not tell another person.  I challange each of you to do the same.  I bet it will make you feel wonderful.  Take care all and enjoy this day!
